Class Descriptions
All About Abs- 30 min/Low-High Intensity: Designed to increase abdominal and core strength while sculpting an awesome stomach! Also incorporates core stability and low back strengthening exercises
Bootcamp- 1hr/Medium- High Intensity: Total-body workout that includes cardio and muscular conditioning drills and exercises. Helps build your strength, flexibility, and stamina.
Cycling- 45min-1 hr/Low-High Intensity: Cycling has arrived at Lakeview taking stationary biking to a new level! Water bottle and towel required; please see instructor before class for first time participants
Fire Yoga- 45 min/Medium Intensity: Traditional yoga class paired with candlelight to take your experience to a new level while promoting mind-body awareness
Fitness Yoga- 1 hr/Medium Intensity: Traditional yoga paired with moderate weights and functional moves; great way to change up your routine!
Forrest Yoga: 1 hr/Medium-High Intensity: a unique and powerful practice in a safe and supportive environment that uses heat, deep breathing, and long holds in poses to sweat out toxins, oxygenate the body, and build strength and flexibility
High Intensity Circuit Training- 1 hr/High Intensity: 20 minute cardio session at the beginning of class followed by 25-30 different resistance stations at 60 seconds each. Great for a total body workout and muscular endurance!
Interval Cardio- 1 hr/Low-High Intensity: A complete cardio workout using the treadmill, stair master, elliptical, bike, and may include agilities. Instructor gives different intensities and speeds throughout class
Kickboxing- 1 hr/ Medium-High Intensity: Taking traditional self-defense moves and pairing it with quick movements to ensure a great cardio workout while getting strong!
Pilates- 45 min/Medium Intensity: A class that integrates breathing techniques with controlled movements targeted to strengthen and lengthen muscles; focuses on strengthening core musculature
Spin n’ Sculpt: 1 hr/ Med-High Intensity: 45 Cycle Ride then 15 minutes of resistance/strength training; a great total body workout!
Stretch It Out: 30 min/Low Intensity: Purely stretching and nothing else! Come stretch after your workout, a long day, or to increase flexibility!
Total Body Sculpting: 1 hr/ High Intensity: A complete, total body workout incorporating weight training for every major muscle group paired with cardio intervals. Fast paced with plyometrics, resistance training, and heart pounding cardio bouts! Beginners, please speak with instructor before class
H20 Blast: 1 hr/Low Intensity: A low impact, non-weight bearing class great for all fitness levels and especially for those recovering from injury or surgery!
Yoga: 45 min/Low Intensity: A class designed to bring union of the mind and body while improving breathing, flexibility, and body alignment
Zumba: 1 hr/Low-High Intensity: An aerobic dance class that combines Latin and International music with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. For ALL fitness levels!
